Palomba® was born in Matera in 1948 thanks to the tenacity, entrepreneurship and great talent of a young craftsman: Palomba Emanuele, founder and partner of the company.
Thanks to its quality, seriousness and experience, the small carpenter’s shop soon stood out in the market of Matera by producing furniture, furnishing accessories, interior doors and frames.
At the beginning of the nineties, the founder and his son Francesco Paolo decided to concentrate their efforts on a single and new product: the wooden doors and windows with aluminium external cladding.
The production of this kind of windows, which are considered to be innovative and capable of notably improving families’ living comfort,

became the starting point for a new and fascinating challenge that the company did not hesitate to accept.
This forecast was soon confirmed by the requests of an ever-growing market.
Palomba®which sells all over Italy can count on a production area of 3000 sqm, an up-to-date system which is made up of hi-tech machinery and on the collaboration of highly specialized carpenters.
